64 cameras. Priorities first.
Revised from Maxwell's voice instructions. Prepared for the 28 October morning deadline; exact submission time remains to be confirmed. Pretoria North source drawings; confirm Atteridgeville identity.
Removed: M01, M02, M03, M04, M15, M16, B01, B02, B03. Repeated mentions of M05/M10/M14 count once. M06 covers the M14–M06 passage. S01 and S02 are separate first-floor server interior and door-approach views above M05. B10 remains a basement door view.
Provisional retained priorities: M07/M08 and B04–B09. B08 room use requires clarification because the main server has moved upstairs. Separate perimeter, H02, B11 and sub-hall A01–A08 are deferred to keep exactly 64. Parking positions remain the proposed 26-camera distribution. No automatic additions for overlapping red dots.

Equipment selling-price options
38 × Hikvision DS-2CD2141G0-LIU 2.8 mm; 26 × 4 mm. Existing public supplier benchmarks checked 27 October 2026, inclusive of supplier VAT. Exact lenses and availability require confirmation.
Working recommendation: 20% equipment markup pending overhead, warranty and competitive-price review. 15% can be shown as a negotiated alternative. This is markup on cost: 15% gives 13.04% gross margin; 20% gives 16.67%. A true 20% gross margin needs cost ÷ 0.80.
These are VAT-inclusive benchmark comparisons, not a tax invoice. Final selling VAT must use Mosh's confirmed tax status and supplier input-VAT treatment.
Cable allowance to upstairs M05 server
Per camera: rectilinear horizontal estimate + assumed rise + 3 m drops; add 20% routing reserve and 3 m service slack, round up. Vertical allowances: parking 6 m, ground 4 m, gallery/server 1 m, basement 8 m. Scaled plan centres are assumed aligned; basement alignment and first-floor room footprint are unverified.
12 provisional home runs exceed the 90 m design-review trigger. Some exceed 100 m. Do not install these as single ordinary copper Ethernet channels; confirm actual routes and use distributed PoE cabinets with fibre uplinks or a designed extension solution. The 3,514 m figure is a conservative home-run budgeting scenario, not a measured procurement quantity or a confirmed final topology.
Quote builder · equipment and labour kept separate
Enter supplier costs when the accessories list arrives. Blank fields remain pending; no installed-system total is claimed. Values below are a consistent VAT-inclusive comparison scenario only. Changes stay in this browser.
Accessory scope still to price: recording/VMS for 64 channels, retention/storage, PoE ports and power budgets, fibre/SFPs/cabinets, racks/patching, UPS, surge protection/earthing, conduit/trunking, poles/mounts, licences, testing, training and support. Obtain in-house and competing supplier rates side by side. Labour is separate and receives no automatic equipment markup.

Decisions needed before issuing a firm quote
- Confirm provisional M07/M08 and B04–B09 priority choices, especially the basement room use and floor registration.
- Confirm first-floor server position, riser, cable containment routes and outdoor cabinet locations remotely using marked photos/video.
- Receive accessory prices, stock/lead times and warranty terms; confirm lenses and final camera SKU.
- Approve 15% or 20% equipment markup, confirm tax treatment and price labour separately.
The historic unnamed R1,500 bullet-camera rate is not a price for the suggested named model. Existing quote 08/2609 needs its R20,514 arithmetic discrepancy and missing 10% payment stage corrected before reuse.
